Sandra Hirsch

Sandra Hirsch studied product and process design at the Berlin University of the Arts. After graduating, she initially worked as a designer. At the same time, she became involved in teaching at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) as a research assistant and discovered her interest in design research as well as her skills as a coach.

After a research project in Japan and Korea, she was instrumental in the conception and introduction of the Master's program in Industrial Design at TUM and began her four-year doctorate on design as a means of socio-economic value creation.

For 13 years she taught design research as well as design methods and processes, supervised interdisciplinary development projects and received several awards for her teaching concepts.
