Katja Helmin

Ocean, Nature & Design - Katja Helmin is a Master student in Medical Design at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts in Kiel. The focus of her studies is on concept development and design of medical tools as well as dealing with social and environmental relevant issues.
In 2018, she graduated in product design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hannover. The focus of her thesis, in cooperation with the company HEWI, is on the topic of elderly care and safety in the household.
Recently, she dealt with the question: What if the energy you are currently generating could be used to light a lamp somewhere in the world? - A public playground, green energy, an educational mission, social projects and savings.
By the way, she is also an illustrator and loves to surf.
