Esra Gülmen

Esra Gülmen is a visual artist and designer working as a head of design at Heimat, Berlin as well as a member of ADC Germany. She was selected four times as part of the “200 Best Illustrators” Worldwide by Lürzer’s Archive Magazine.

After studying interior design, she worked as an assistant professor and taught at Marmara Fine Arts Faculty. After 2 years of working as an academic, she moved to Germany and started her new career as an art director. At first at Ogilvy Frankfurt, later at Ogilvy Amsterdam. She has won many awards like Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Eurobest, Epica, LIA, ADC Germany.

Her artworks shows small struggles of everyday life. She has exhibited her art in many group shows and opened three solo shows so far in Amsterdam, Hamburg and Berlin.
