Christof Pilsl

Christof Pilsl was born in Lower Bavaria in 1985. He works as a freelance director and writer for film and television productions. His short film KRAMPUS has been shown at over 20 national and international festivals and has received several awards. For his series debut 5VOR12 he won the Grimme Prize 2018 in the category “Children and Youth”. In 2020 the loud coming-of-age series STICHTAG (JOYN) will appear, in which he illuminates another side of the Bavarian capital with real kids from the Munich outskirts.
