Ben Santo

Prof. Ben Santo is a communication designer and university lecturer. As a consultant and designer, he has been involved in cultural and business projects for many years. Since 2017, he has been Dean of the Faculty of Design at Munich University of Applied Sciences, the largest state institution for academic design research and teaching in Munich. The Faculty of Design sees itself as a discourse space for the design debate between culture, business and science. In his professorship for "Design Fundamentals and Project Work" he intensively deals with the role of design in innovation and design processes. Prof. Santo is the spokesman for the deans of the design faculties of the Free State of Bavaria, which offer 12 design courses for more than 2300 students with 61 professorships.
