Films of any genre struggle to address emotional issues like dementia and caregiving with respect. Join us for films with respect followed by a live talk.
"Not Rudi Again" is a feature film by actress/screenwriter Ona Devi Liebich and director/actor Ismael Şahin, which describes the story of a male friendship revolving around the supposedly missing dog Rudi. A viewer summarizes the film as follows: "I cried and my father, who suffers from dementia, laughed".
The supporting film "Gentle Angel" was produced by Lorenz Baier, who describes his intention as follows: "My motivation is to move people and encourage them to (re-)think. A film discussion will follow.
