Sustainable companies in the age of digitization

The lecture tries to make an abstract topic as comprehensible as possible using examples. After all, digitization goes far beyond the purely technical aspect (keyword: "broadband expansion").

The effects of digitization have extremely far-reaching implications and allow for different perspectives. The so-called "Old Economy" speaks of excessive demands - everything becomes faster, more interconnected and needs to be done simultaneously. The opposite pole is the "New Economy", which accepts the challenges and starts with a completely new way of thinking that doesn't lose the people in the process.
How do we manage to establish a culture of change in the oh so successful but conservative German culture of persistence? The lecture tries to provide answers to this.
